financial app concept

Imfundo (meaning education or acquisition of knowledge, from the Nguni language of Southern Africa) is a finanacial/lifestyle web and mobile app concept that enables a user to start saving for their child(ren) from birth and encourage their family and friends to assist! Save and raise funds. The concept of 'Investing for the Future of Our Children!' is a powerful and meaningful one. I was offered a small stake in Imfundo at its infancy and accepted as I truly feel this service can/could enrich lives.

Unfortunately this app was never finalised; the first two banks that we approached ran with their own versions after we met with them. We had approached a third but while we had their initial buy-in it, the agreement eventually fell through as they had other commitments.
