Using Keystones segmentation model, and other collated data, the design team and I re-crafted Showmax's direct marketing materials, ultimately creating automated personalized messaging and content.

My first task was to learn how to use the Multi-channel platform that was being used for campaigns - Braze (formaly known as App-Boy). The goal was to go from doing mostly manual sends to achieving 90% automation of all sends. My team and I worked with Showmax in-house dev and marketing teams to achieve this. My first brief was to re-design Showmax's onboarding email templates, then re-build them, optimizing the templates to work and look great on all devices, from desktop to mobile, across all email clients and platforms, even Outlook.

After that I spent some time doing research and development on best-practice for creating templates that work, and look the best, for in-app and push notifications, and eventually web push. I created Photoshop templates for Keystones' design team to use. This was a lengthy process, with much testing and refining.

I was tasked to create templates , set-up guides and test message limitations for in-app, push notifications and content cards.

I did this through using my learning's from working on Showmax, and working within the confines of what was possible for the DStv Mobile app.

The first task was to create an Onboarding in-app screen that worked across all devices and OS. This was challenging but with some critical creative thought was able to achieve success.
As testing had to be done in a live environment, I created a micro-site, which had downloadable files as well as a QR code that would launch the On-Boarding in-app screens (which I built using HTML and JavaScript) on a users phone.

My second biggest task was to do RnD as to best practice for in-app and push notifications (and eventually web push). I created Photoshop templates for Keystones' design team to use. This was a lengthy process, with much testing and refining.

Thirdly I was tasked with automation of Push and Content cards. Working closely with a lead developer, and having to meet with the DStv in-house programming team we achieved our goal. We created templates that utilized API calls, drawing on at least two databases. This was once again a challenging project, but a brilliant experience.

Upon first joining Keystone, I had the great privilege of visually representing the campaign that Keystone had run for Showmax. I worked with multiple decks and graphs and created a series of infographics for the Bookmark Awards submission. Very proud that we were awarded the Golden Pixel Award for Data-driven Campaign - Customer Engagement Segmentation!
